Power Mode Extension!
Now you’re playing with power! Well that’s what Nintendo used to say. But if you wanted to add a little flare, *SOMETIMES LITERALLY* Power Mode is a fun to use in all the software that’s supported. If you wanted to use it for your whole operating system, there’s a way to set it up, but the path is a little invasive.
The Power Mode extension is just a way to add some graphics when you’re on a roll developing, writing, whichever activity you use your keyboard for. The two main customizable items is the words per minute (WPM) and the desired graphics (flames, fireworks, etc…). You can also configure how long that animation lasts, how many instances of the animation, and if the animation can overlap.
For some people it can be distracting, for some it can be a montivator. But if you like having a little fun, you can always turn it on and off as needed. I use it with Visual Studio Code, you guys should give it a shot!
